THE MOON OVER 11 DAYS

These are 11 days of moon stages so you can see how the moon changes. The moon changes phase, because the moon orbits the Earth and the part of the moon we see is what's lit up by the sun. As it orbits, it gets lit up more an more and then less an less, creating a cycle throughout approximately a month.

this is the moon on the 9th of October, a waxing crescent
this is the moon on the 10th of october, still a waxing crescent.
this is the moon on the 11th of october, still a waxing crescent.
it was too cloudy to take a picture of the moon on the 12th of october, so here's the moon on the 13th of october, a waxing crescent.
this is the moon on the 16th of october. it was cloudy on the 14th and 15th, it was cloudy so no good pictures were taken. in this picture oon the 16th, the moon is a first quarter.
this si the moon on the 17th of october, a waxing gibbous.
this is the moon on the 18th of october, a waxing gibbous.
the moon on the 19th of october, a waxing gibbous
this is the moon on the 20th of october, a waxing gibbous but almost completely full.
this is the moon on the 21st of october, finally a full moon!
